Shepherd Huts
Lakeside is a small joint venture run by passionate craftsmen in the Sussex countryside. We will make your hut to suit your requirements, whether it be a mini hut for the children or a full size ,fully equipped one for adults.
The Mini Hut
The mini hut , starting at 8' x 4', is perfect for the smaller garden and ideal as a playroom for the kids or even as extra accomodation as bunk beds can be added at the end. Let your imagination run wild with endless options that can be added to make it a truly unique space.
As standard, our mini huts come with softwood featheredge, softwood chassis, 2 double glazed windows(fully opening ) softwood painted door in the end of the hut, softwood T&G panelling (painted white) on the walls and ceiling, insulated walls and roof, black corrugated roof, painted trim externally and softwood steps.

The Big Hut
The big hut, starting at 12' x 7'6" ( up to 18' x 7'6") comes as standard with an oak chassis, cast iron turntable ,wheels and drawbar.
With this option, the sky is the limit when it comes to adding extras, from wood burning stoves, kitchen, shower, toilet, boiler for hot water to a double bed.
As a starting point, the large huts come complete with insulated walls, floor and ceiling, black corrugated roof, softwood T&G (painted white) to the walls and ceiling, oak floor, single door in the end,3 opening double glazed windows, oak steps and two double sockets and one light fixture.
Pods
Our new venture is building pods for home office, treatment room, extra bedroom or glamping. All pods are 2 .5 m or 2.9m wide externally but length is variable starting at 3.6 m.

Pricing starts at 8,500 GBP for a basic pod with door one end and window the other. For a pod with double doors in the side and a window each end prices start at 10,500 GBP but do contact us and we are happy to give you a firm price once we know sizes.
